Favorite Organizing Products for Kids

February 15, 2022

The right organizing product can make all the difference in the world – especially when it comes to organizing kids! Some products are just not worth even a glance, while others we literally cannot love enough. So, in honor of Valentine’s Day, here are a couple of our favorite organizing products for kids.

We love to use clear pantry bins for any item, anywhere! They are especially wonderful to containerize play-doh and craft supplies which are often used on a table. A pantry bin easily transfers items to any desired location and cleanup becomes a breeze when everything gets placed back into the same container.

A rolling cart is a great way to store arts and craft supplies, organize a homework station, and containerize any other supplies that need to be accessible and transferable. This cart has wheels and can be moved in and out of closets and from room to room.

At Abundance Organizing, we like to use stackable drawers to store toys and craft supplies because they help to utilize vertical space and make these items visible and accessible.

Turntables with dividers are pretty much one of our favorite organizing products ever! We love to use them to store items like snacks and markers. Kids can easily grab the contents because they are visible and accessible. Perfect if you want them to be able to grab a snack or put the markers away by themselves.

Nothing beats a sterilite file box to create a keepsake bin for all those drawings, special papers from school, and other documents that will fit into files. For more on keepsake bins, here is a great blog post on organizing kids’ documents.

Command hooks are extremely helpful when you do not want to use a nail but really want to take advantage of that wall space. They are great when you need to hang a hook for a jacket in that launchpad space that is always thrown on the floor.

We love using an over-the-door shoe organizer to store anything from cold gear to hair accessories, art supplies to toiletries. This product helps utilize space in tight places such as bathrooms, closets, bedrooms, and craft rooms.

Sterilite bins are just the best to organize toys, crafts, and anything else that needs a lid. They are stackable  and containerize items well. Finish with a label so the contents are easily identified.

Organizing kids can be tough-but, the right tools can definitely make the job easier. Each one of these products has a professional organizer’s stamp of approval.
